Women of Purpose
Our women’s group launched in September 2026 and will meet monthly on the second to last Friday of the month, 7:30 pm – 9:30 pm in Loanhead Church Hall. This year we are studying Ephesians together with each session being a mix of fellowship, praise, prayer, learning and discussion. Whether you become a regular, or dip in and out, you’ll always be welcome to join us with the content of each session being accessible to all.
Each month we will focus on a different chapter of Ephesians (the full schedule is below). We would really encourage you to spend time reading and re-reading that chapter for yourself before coming along to the session. What do you notice? What is surprising? What is God highlighting for you? It’s when we slow down with God’s word that it can really start to take root. Let’s dwell in Ephesians this year.
If you would like help to get the most from Ephesians, here are a number of OPTIONAL resources that we recommend:
1. Signing up to our dedicated WhatsApp group (via this link or the QR code below) is a great way to stay connected, keep curious and be encouraged throughout the month
2. We highly recommend the Ephesians Study Book with video access from Lifeway – A Study of Faith and Practice. This study will provide an in-depth understanding of Ephesians chapter by chapter
3. If podcasts are more your thing then you can explore the Ephesians season from the Two Sisters and a Cup of Tea (they are also on Spotify)
4. Why not have a go at memorising some key verses from Ephesians? At the end of each session we’ll provide a colouring sheet with a key memory verse. If you miss a session and would like a sheet, just let Amy Pickering or Laura Duffin know and we can pass it on to you. It’s a great way to allow Ephesians to take root in your heart

20th November – Ephesians 2
22nd January – Ephesians 3
26th February – Ephesians 4 (due to the half term break this will be the last Friday of the month)
19th March – Ephesians 5
23rd April – Ephesians 6
21st May – Round-up session
18th June – Social to celebrate our first season
