We are very much a parish church – here to serve the parish of Loanhead, and committed to developing groups, activities and worship events for people of all ages and backgrounds.
At the heart of all that we do is helping people discover and develop a relationship with God through Jesus Christ.
We believe it’s the most exciting way to live life and that God is passionate about having us know him and love him. So much so that he sent his Son Jesus to die for us. Worship is part of the way that we encounter God and you are welcome to join us any Sunday morning at 11 a.m. – but we also offer small group opportunities for children and adults.
We want to assure you of a welcome to all of our church services, groups and events – and have included information about these within the site.
We are also involved in different ways within the community – in particular in the local schools where we run lunch time and break time groups as well as being involved in leading Assemblies. Our new Connect” bus initiative sees us out on the streets in a specially adapted double decker bus on Friday evenings offering activities for young people and a place to explore faith.
For us faith is about real life and needs to make a difference. We are committed to supporting people in whatever way we can. We have a Pastoral Care Group who provide support at times of illness or bereavement and a Community Outreach Group who provide support for families and individuals in practical ways. You don’t have to be a member of the church to ask for our help – just give us a call.
