All three sections of the Company are now well into their 2019/20 programmes. The Anchor boys continue with their various craft work and games. The Junior Section are well into their award scheme. They have also had a visit to Laser Quest and will be participating in a sleepover at the Trampoline Centre with our friends at the 51st Bonnyrigg Junior Section. The Company Section have been busy with various activities including archery, cooking, first aid, etc. They also had a visit to Liberton Fire Station, giving them a chance to see inside the station and the appliance.
We had boys participating in the Battalion Indoor Fives. Our juniors teamed up with 61st Musselburgh Coy. and won their competition. The seniors teamed up with 51st Bonnyrigg and came third in their competition.
On a personal note I would like to thank the staff for their work, especially during my absence. It’s good to know we have a good team of volunteers at Loanhead.
