On Easter Sunday we will be celebrating in a number of different ways that Jesus is risen!
Starting with a sunrise walk in the Pentland Hills, followed by breakfast back at church, our Easter Sunday Service, then tea and coffee, and decorating eggs. Please join us for as much of the day as you are able to.
Sunrise Walk: We will meet at the Car Park at Flotterstone at 6am. The postcode for the car park is EH26 0PP. The plan is to take a fairly easy route that has a gentle climb up towards Glencorse Reservoir which should provide great views. We will watch the sunrise together which will be at about 6.44am (clocks will have gone forward overnight!). Feel free to bring tea/coffee, snacks, chocolate Easter eggs (Lent is over!) – whatever you need to keep you going!
Breakfast: Following the walk, we will return to church for breakfast which will be served from 9am. You are welcome for breakfast even if you haven’t been on the walk!
Traditional Easter Sunday Service: 10.30am – 11.30am
Following the service there will be tea and coffee served in the hall – and an egg painting activity time, so please stay for that.
